A great week...
Shabbat dinner at our home in Jerusalem surrounded by family and friends. We take turns sharing something good from the week that has passed. Ariela smiles and says, “I don’t know, it was just a great week!” Maybe I really am living the dream?

Happy Sukkot!
Put up the sukkah the other night with the girls. Not the same as the redwood frame sukkah from NoCal but building a Sukkah in Jerusalem does have its advantages. 1. It was a scene—hundreds and...

Technician coming tomorrow to give us an estimate (insurance will probably cover). Girls are doing great—school started on September 1 and they are all adjusting amazingly well. Isa and Ariela tell us they “love” their new...

Dreaming at the Jerusalem Pool
Last night the girls had a sleep-out in celebration of the last night of camp at the Jerusalem Pool. Jacq dropped them off at 8 p.m. They had a BBQ dinner (hamburger in pita with hummous, pickles, and ketchup). Night swim followed by an outdoor screening of Ice Age. Then to the tent for sleep (joined by their friend Racheli from Pennsylvania—they call her Penny). Middle of the night Ariela...
